Amanda Andres (sounds like ‘And-drays’) is a Design Researcher and Business Anthropologist focused on exploring the cross-paradigmatic interoperability needed to address the 21st century’s business challenges.
She is currently a Design Research Lead at a non-profit healthcare system based in the States. Prior to healthcare, Amanda worked as a Product Manager at an agricultural biotechnology company and helped to maintain a global design language system for websites and applications. Before that, she worked as an Innovation Consultant in finance for nearly five years.  Amanda worked as a multi-industry UX/UI Designer and Art Director for eight years. Over the past 16 years, Amanda’s career has taken her from working in design for local, regional, and national brands in the United States to working in business anthropology consulting for companies with a global presence.
She holds a postgraduate specialization in Interaction Design from U.C. San Diego, a postgraduate certificate in Business Anthropology from Clemson University, and a BFA in Graphic Design from Webster University. Amanda is a proud member of both EPIC and the American Anthropological Association.
